Microchanneling
FAQ

  • Microchanneling is microneedling evolved. Using a linear stamping technique, it creates uniform micro-channels in the skin without tearing or dragging, which reduces discomfort and downtime. Treatments are faster due to wider device tips covering more surface area.

Microneedling, on the other hand, creates irregular, angled channels, which can be more abrasive and typically require 5–7 days of downtime.

  • Skin naturally ages due to sun exposure, inflammation, environmental toxins, gravity, and the gradual decline of regenerative stem cells. Over time, these factors reduce the skin’s ability to repair itself, leading to wrinkles, laxity, and other visible signs of aging.

  • A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, ensuring comfort. Most clients feel only a light vibration during the procedure. Post-treatment, skin may feel gently tight, but lingering pain is rare.

  • Microchanneling is safe for all skin types, including sensitive or darker skin tones. Properly performed treatments do not cause hyperpigmentation, keloids, or long-term side effects.

  • Mild irritation or redness is normal.

Day of treatment: Apply AnteAGE® Hyaluronic Acid to soothe and hydrate.

Days 3–5: Use a hyaluronic mask for additional hydration and relief if skin feels tight or dry.

Avoid active ingredients (retinols, hydroquinone, acids) for 5–7 days, as the skin is more sensitive.

  • ■ Initial improvements in skin texture and hydration may be noticeable within 24 hours.

Collagen production (neocollagenesis) takes 4–6 weeks.

    ■ For more pronounced results—especially for scars, laxity, or wrinkles—4–6 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart are typically recommended.

  • Microchanneling may benefit those with:

    ■ Fine lines or wrinkles
    ■ Sunspots or hyperpigmentation
    ■ Uneven skin texture
    ■ RosaceaModerate skin laxity
    ■ Stretch marks
    ■ Atrophic (depressed) acne scars
    ■ Sun or traumatic scars
    ■ Hair thinning or hair loss
    ■ All skin tones (Fitzpatrick scale I–VI)

  • Microchanneling is generally not recommended for individuals with:

    ■ Certain skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis)
    ■ Cardiac abnormalities
    ■ Pregnancy or nursing
    ■ Active infections (bacterial, viral, fungal)
    ■ Recent radiation therapy
    ■ Open wounds
    ■ Keloid scars
    ■ Immunosuppression
    ■ Uncontrolled diabetes, hemophilia, or bleeding disorders
    ■ Accutane use within the past year
    ■ Allergies to stainless steel or metals

  • Patients with conditions that significantly weaken the immune system—such as recent chemotherapy, active radiation, chronic inflammatory skin disease, or bleeding disorders—should avoid microchanneling. Individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or allergic to stainless steel should also not undergo treatment.

IV Therapy
FAQ

  • Upon arrival you will be brought back to our IV room. Here you will meet with one of our Registered Nurses to go over a brief medical history and complete your treatment consent. We answer any questions before beginning so you know what to expect, especially if this will be your first time receiving an IV. We will collect your vitals before your infusion, monitor for adverse reactions during the infusion, and collect a final set of vitals upon completion. Your arm will be prepped in a sterile fashion, and an IV will be placed and secured. Sometimes it may take more than one attempt to start your IV due certain factors that may make it difficult accessing your veins. Some factors that may make it harder to access your veins could be dehydration, previous intravenous drug use, obesity, and loss of skin tone due to aging. Depending on the therapy it can take 30-60 minutes to complete the infusion. Once complete the catheter will be removed and the IV site covered. We will provide you with some paperwork after the therapy is complete and let you begin enjoying the immediate benefits – it’s that simple!

  • Yes, all our products are from an FDA 503B pharmaceutical outsourcing facility and 503A pharmacy providing high-quality nutritional medications across the US.

  • There are very minimal side effects to IV therapy. The majority of side effects are minor and short lived. The potential side effects include bleeding or bruising at the IV site. You may feel cooling sensations in the arm, tasting of the vitamins being infused or changes in the smell or color of your urine after. However, our Registered Nurses are licensed to manage any side effects that may occur.

  • When booking an IV therapy you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire through the booking app. If you have any history of heart failure or kidney disease you will not be able to receive IV therapy. If you are a prenatal patient experiencing nausea/vomiting and wish to receive IV Zofran (an anti-nausea medication) you will need to provide a written approval letter from your OB provider if you’re in the first trimester. If you have any health concerns or are taking certain medications and you have questions about safety, you can discuss with our Registered Nurse or schedule a consultation with our Medical Provider through our app prior to booking.

  • You may require more than one attempt at starting your IV. There are many reasons a person may have a difficult IV start but some of the most common are a person’s vein anatomy, hydration status, skin elasticity, and weight. If for any reason we are not able to successfully start your IV you will not be charged for any of the service booked. We may advise you to try to rehydrate and come back on a different day.

  • IV therapy has many benefits, but how often should you get it? Is there an upper limit? Well, like everything, the answer is that it depends on your needs, goals, and reasons for receiving IV therapy. We can help determine a therapy plan that best suits your overall health goal. Some of the treatments are meant to be used as a quick fix to treat the ailment when it’s active such as migraine or hangover relief.

However, in those situations where IV therapy is utilized to promote your overall wellness, one infusion every two weeks is both ideal and adequate for most people since nutrient levels are elevated for a couple of weeks following an infusion.

And if you need or want IV therapy because you want to elevate your health and overall feelings of wellness, a once-in-a-while appointment for self-care is okay, too! While there is much to be gained by receiving regular IV therapy to ensure that you’re always nourished and hydrated, many people also make it part of their semi-regular self-care routine and use it whenever they want a boost.
